[Resolved] CEPH slowness / failure, dead physical host

Network failure in internal network gradually degraded the CEPH (storage) cluster, which ended up making VMs unresponsives. One physical host hosting VMs went down during the night. Service gradually went back between 4 AM and 7 AM.

Some CEPH workers died following this morning’s network issue. They are now recovering.

A - now reverted - network misconfiguration overloaded the network serving our VM hosts in place6 (main location, Linthal). Most of our services were slowed down.
